Drawing with direct observation, which supports children to develop deeper concentration, discovery, and curiosity. Those are all key skills for higher thinking such as divergent thinking, creative thinking, hypothesis making, etc.

Our little scientists have eagerly and in a deeply concentrated way developed their ability to participate in the scientific process. There are 6 “basic Scientific processing skills” that children need to develop: observing, making a hypothesis, collecting data by measuring, observing and testing, classifying and organizing the data, communicating the results, and forming predictions for further study.

How many skills did our little scientist develop in this short activity?
